I made candied sweet potatoes from fresh potatoes this year - not the canned ones. They were delicious! Put the peels in my compost.
What did you fix?

Kimmy, it just so happens we didn't even hunt eggs this year since it was raining sideways. I have found real eggs year later. The stench was awful.
It was still all fun Anne. Hope your was too.
Gnome, I think I love that guy...
AM, I contrilbuted the pimento cheese stuffed celery and the sweet potatoes also. We candy them as well. Cook them in their jackets, peel and place in a syrup of brown sugar, water and butter that has cooked down some and let them simmer just a while. They were particularly good this year as my bro-in-law was watching them.
