In case you were unaware...It's hard to find anything not made in China besides food and I'm not altogether sure about that in some instances.
Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive. -Howard Thurman

I must be having a blond moment, are you looking for things made in China or something not made there?
I was made in the USA...quality stuff.
:-)
I'm just saying everything is made in China and it's not possible to purchase much of anything else although I've noticed my crest toothpaste is made in Mexico...
Iamnot, are you saying you can be bought?
Tis true.
It is hard to buy American.
Yep. And I do have a fair amount of canned goods in my pantry from China. You made me look. Not to mention the apple juice has a stamp that says made from apples from china. Don't we have a ton of apples here? I'm going to start reading things more carefully in the store.
Just so you know...I've shut down my blog. I'll be back under a new name and avatar for commenting only. You'll likely recognize me.
As for being bought...for you...you just have to whistle. :-)
I knew it was true but as I shopped on Sunday I looked at everything I picked up. It is just amazing to me there is nothing made in the US anmore. Before I noticed I bought aluminum foil manufactured in the US from Russian metals (I WON"T be buying that anymore- Russian metal! Is there anything else more scarey?).
Lisa P, I have noticed Russian apples in apple juice, yes. I won't buy it if I see it. Hope I didn't send you over the edge with this!
Iamnot, what's up with the move? Got a stalker? (giggle).
And btw, Im a great whistler. Let me know where I can find you...
Whitehouse apple juice is made in Winchester, VA
Ok, iamnot, when is this going to happen? You are a regular read so Im missing your presence.
Yeah, it's pretty sad, isn't it?
I think Ive seen that brand of juice. And such a patriotic name.
I really don't go overboard with watching what I buy. But it is a sad idea that we don't have those basic things made here, not to mention the millions of jobs it means we have lost to overseas imports. Ok, ok, I don't want to get started.
