I will indeed Manicurist. Salsa and hopefully with a crockpot recipe, some sauce for the freezer.

They are sweet especially the yellow ones. But for sauce and salsa, Im liking the reds.

You almost make me want to take up gardening.

I actually grew beets in my side yard one year. It took two days with a pick axe to dig a single trench for planting.

Never again.

Sounds like you were truly inspired (or was it possessed?) at least for a few hours. "Pick axe" and "planting" should never be in the same sentence together...
I think your particular gardening experience would be better served in a raised bed. You should look into that.

Ouch, Kimmy! My mom has that problem too with too much salt. But I guess it's to be endured for the manna that is fresh tomatoes. And I now have a link to the mozzarella-making store. Bruschetta is one of my favorites.
Have you ever had a tomato and peanut butter sandwich?

I put some pots on the back porch this year. All the plants are dead.
Something about 114 deg temps makes even container gardening "challenging."
