Quick and To the Point

Fancy big breakfast before heading into the shopping metropolis.

School clothes shopping -yippee (hardly)

Garden is calling as well as the bowls full of tomatoes - still there

Made scrumptious fresh tomato sauce last night with Parmesan shaved on and fresh basil leaves. OMG!

Fresh salsa waiting in fridge for after purchase of favorite tortilla chips

58 degrees this morning -loving it, thankful for it but not getting used to it because it will change back to 90's this coming week.

Funny things, important things:
-J's voice is squeaky from turning into a man
-E put in an application for a job
-my cats will eat Vienna sausages in a pinch when there is no cat food (I didn't buy those -we were given some which I refuse to consume- just thought you oughta know)

Ah clothes shopping...it will make a grown woman cry. Thankfully two things, one my son goes to all year round school so I shop through-out the year instead of in the summer. Two I only have one.

I tell you though he's gotten into Tilley and Abercrombie clothes and refuses to wear old navy or the likes of, and they're expensive. I need some rich people to adopt me.

I love a good tomato sauce. I made some from scratch once and was so proud of myself. When my husband ate most of it in a single sitting I was disgusted. All that effort for 5 minutes of glory.

Vienna sausages for kitty. Cat gas can be pretty bad. Best prepare yourself.

AM, it happened over night. A real surprise- sort of like his feet growth.

Hello Jetpass! Good to see you.
And the clothes shopping is being done in smaller increments so as to not induce as much shock to the ole checkbook/credit card/bank account/college fund/life savings.
I am thankfully J doesn't care about the label, only if he feels he looks good.
Yeah, Im looking for that sugar daddy as well....

Lisa P, I hope YOU got a plate of the sauce at least?
I spent last night trying to reclaim my kitchen from the tomato fairy but still have a half bucket of them. I managed to get some of the fresh style sauce made and canned, and chopped tomatoes canned. It takes a long time just to blanch, peel and chop.
Yeah, the Vienna sausage cat meal was a one time deal and they are all outside kitties so no worries...
Mathman, There you go again impressing me with your abilities around the kitchen. Nothing is so good as fresh salsa- I just wish I had my cilantro still going. It all went to seed and will be a while before it's growing again.
We could have a salsa tasting session. Everybody's invited. Let's make sure we have some watermelon daiquiris.
By the way, those glasses look very nice on those nice peepers of yours...
