There was a piece on our local news last night about folks from here going to rescue animals from the floods and tornadoes of the Midwest. People are lining up to adopt these animals that had been left behind.
Wow! That's very nice to know those animals get a home.
There was a PBS piece on the animals from New Orleans after Katrina. It was heartbreaking- and that was just about the animals! Think about how horrible it was for the people.
