Just Call Me Eleanor Abernathy

Let me just say it's impossible to live in town and have an nonfluctuating cat population.

My pet numbers ebb and flow with the tide.

I had a VERY pregnant, friendly cat up my Spruce tree last night after the storm. She proceeded to disappear about the time I was going to deposit her to the house I saw her at last week.

This morning she was back and yowling like a ...I don't know what!

I already had a friendly beautiful cat come join the two-cat clan a month ago and I agreed to keep him. But this is too much!!!

It would be so wonderful to see new tiny kittens!

Are you suggesting I should keep her?!
I guess I'm getting old and harsh because there was a time I would have jumped at the chance but now all I can think is how much trouble and how much cat food it will take plus all that poop in my yard!

The photo was not the cat, btw.

Another potential "cat lady."
Beware! :-)

If AM wasn't suggesting you keep her, I am. That is if you have room in your freezer. Very low in fat.

That's a familiar face, the cat lady. You know 4 cats in the house and one outside freeloader.

I am hoping that at least a few them will go with the futureformer wife when she leaves for NYC. I guess it depends on the settlement.

Ah, how can you resist? The neighbourhood cats have spread the good word about your house. Maybe a friend will come to your rescue - wishful thinking and all that...

Iamnot, I had to look her up after you said that.
Ha, John. Me and the local Asian restaurant (sorry if that offended).
Hi, KimmyK. I am already known as that. My old neighbor lady called the cops on me once over a "cat" incident.

Good luck mathman on the redistribution of feline members of the family.
NYC?! Long ways away...

Kate, my dad and mom always had the same problem with puppies and dogs at their house and they live 3 miles from a town and on a gravel road. News travels fast and great distances.

I need a stray pregnant cat to wander through my back yard and give birth to only one baby, provided the mother is a mouser, and once the baby is weaned the mother should just leave the baby with us.

I'm cold like that.
