The first field marching competition is today. We've been up since 5 am. CRAP! I don't mind getting up that early if I don't have anywhere to go but having to rush around to get somewhere on a Saturday sucks...

I loved marching competitions! Ah, the good ole days, getting up at the crack of dawn, hot stuffy school buses, theoretically impartial judges, dropped batons, forgotten music.

I do love field marching and I have pics I took but E has the camera in her room and I don't want to wake her up to retreive it.
It was fun and I am always impressed with the big bands. I sat with goose bumps all day just listening to them.
