I love Penelope Hobhouse--have you ever seen her shows? She's a very stuffy Brit who always ends the show with an abrupt, curt "goodbye" sometimes in the middle of her guests talking. So funny! Beautiful gardens though, I really Goodbye!

Peas literally out the wah-zoo!
Careful there. Too much of a good thing....
I have never heard of Penelope, sorry. I don't get to watch the cable and dish nearly as much as I'd like. Mainly because I don't have them and good thing. I'd never get anything done.
yolinna, you made me belly laugh!
Thanks all.

I envy those who love to garden and are good at it. My grandmother had the greenest thumb ever, and my mother inherited that gene...it rather skipped right over me I'm afraid. I LOVE gardens. I love planting the gardens.... I LOATHE pulling weeds. I am hoping to figure out how to propagate more Magnolias from the one tree I have.. and some lilacs as well. It seems a little intimidating though. Must read up on it more...

Good luck with your classroom project. That would have been an awesome thing when I was in school! Hopefully you will get that grant, it will be worth it!
