Time To Gobble

Thankful this day and that family I have, the friends in my life and all the good food for which my dear mommy and I are about to partake of. And the promise of a hot buttered rum later.

Hopeful all of you are safe, happy or at least content and full of wonderful food.

Happy Thanksgiving
P.S. nataS, my children are visiting your state this week.

Would be the State of Confusion or the State of Despair?????

Just kidding.

I hope it's a very spectacular place that they visit here in this little slice of land that time forgot.

Happy Thanksgiving Greeny! No hot buttered rum at our celebration, but we did do Pomosa's. (Champagne and Pomegranate juice). Quite tasty! Have to catch up with my blogging now. :-)

Thanks Simon at any time.

Hi Kate.
Hot buttered rum- add 2 oz. dark rum, lemon twist, teaspoon brown sugar, one clove and one small cinnamon stick to mug or cup. Fill cup rest of way up with boiling wter, add pat of real butter and light grating of nutmeg.
MMmm.
I did have a great visit and we shopped at some very nice gift, decorating and antigue shops instead of "Black Friday" shopping.

I did sleep late on Black Friday. I think it was 6:30, John. The best part was sipping coffee as late as I wanted. My Thanksgiving was very nice too. Lots of dozing...Hope your day was enjoyable too...

nataS, it was a state of perpetual chaos, I think but they loved it. Last time they went to texas, they bought me a nodding armadillo for the back window of my car. It has long since disintegrated. I put my order in for another one but apparently they past up the 7/11 they originally bought it from. Sigh..
Hi, Lorraine. I know my time was not as groovin as yours was! Lucky you to have such fab friends to visit.

Markec, I'd have one of those pomosa! What a healthy drink with all those antioxidents floating in it.

Hi, Anne. Hope you had a lovely time too. I was sort of blogless as well. Just don't have much to contribute of late.
